John Kelly has been working in the “Water Conservation Business” for 10 years now both in Ireland and the U.K. He set up The H.E.L.P Group Ireland – Water Saving Systems here in Ireland in 2006 and has worked with clients of all sizes – from the pub with the one urinal to the University whose water bills have now been reduced by €50,000 per annum. John believes in being up front with his clients which is why we at the H.E.L.P. GROUP always carry out a comprehensive water audit on each site and analyse the figures with our client, so that they can see what the exacts savings to be made are, where they can be made, and more importantly compare them to the costs involved before committing to anything.
Johns work has ranged form designing water saving systems to installing and servicing enzyme systems in gents’ toilets. He also re-designs and installs more efficient waste pipe layouts, mechanically operated systems for waste water run-off, water harvesting systems, maintenance and organic cleaning of pipes, traps, showers, toilets, urinals etc.

Briefly this comprises of checking the volume in cisterns and timing the flush rates on cisterns attached to urinals, checking the flow rates on taps (both hot and cold), showers, and taking an overall record of how, where and what volume of water is being used. Whilst carrying out this audit we also check pipe work, rodding access points, urinal traps, urinals, gulley and any other traps as well as making notes on the overall hygiene, appearance, extraction measures etc. Based on this survey we will make recommendations and show you products as well give you information and a full costing on our services.
